Our Story
We're Jorge and Mona, and Angel's Cocina started the way most good things do — in a kitchen, with great ingredients and someone who really knows how to cook.
Mona is the talent behind every jar. Every week she makes fresh small batches of our Salsa Macha, Crispy Peppers, and infused olive oils entirely by hand — no factories, no shortcuts, no preservatives. Just premium ingredients, real craft, and a whole lot of love. Jorge's job? Patience, logistics, and making sure the jars make it to you in one piece. He also does the dishes.

We started showing up to Houston farmers markets because we wanted to share what Mona was making. Three years later we're still there every weekend — at Memorial Villages, Rice Village, Heights Mercantile, and Tomball — rain or shine. Because that's where we get to see you actually enjoy it. And honestly, that never gets old.
Angel's Cocina is built around one simple idea: healthy food should taste really good. Everything we make is all-natural, gluten-free, dairy-free, with no added sugar and no chemicals. We use premium ingredients — avocado oil, extra virgin olive oil, real chiles, real nuts — because that's what makes the difference between something good and something you can't stop thinking about.
We're proud to be a Go Texan certified producer and a registered trademark. We operate under Texas cottage law, which means everything is made fresh, in small batches, in a real kitchen — exactly the way it should be.
