Traditional Salsa Macha is built on peanuts. This one isn't. We swapped in premium pistachios for something more delicate and unmistakably buttery — the same smoky, crunchy Mexican chili crisp, with a softer, more luxurious edge. It's the jar to bring out when you want the condiment to feel like an occasion.

Built on premium avocado oil, a base of dried chili peppers, and a medley of pumpkin, sunflower and sesame seeds, finished with dried cranberries whose tartness cuts the richness. Available in Mild and Spicy. One 8 oz jar.

What is Salsa Macha?
A Mexican chili oil condiment from Veracruz — crunchy rather than smooth. Where most hot sauces are liquid and vinegary, Salsa Macha is oil-based and full of toasted nuts, seeds and chiles. Think chili crisp, but older, and with a deeper roasted flavor.

How is this different from your peanut Salsa Macha?
The peanut jar is the traditional recipe — deeper and more roasted. This pistachio version is our own variation: buttery, more delicate, a little more luxurious. Same base, different character.

How is it different from chili crisp?
Chili crisp is usually Chinese in origin and built on fried shallot, garlic and soybean oil. Salsa Macha is Mexican, built on nuts and dried chiles, and leans smoky and earthy rather than savory and crisp-fried.

How spicy is it?
Choose Mild or Spicy at checkout. Even the Spicy is about flavor first.

What are the allergens?
